360° audio on the panoramic terrace of Torre Nord
Four Garvan SN120 speakers to provide music for events and social moments with a privileged view over Pisa.
On the top floor of Torre Nord in Pisa, the panoramic terrace opens onto the city and the surrounding landscape. A Garvan outdoor audio system was designed for this space to provide music during events and informal gatherings.
A simple and effective solution was chosen for the terrace: 4 Garvan SN120 outdoor speakers, distributed throughout the area to provide even sound coverage while keeping the system visually discreet.
A terrace overlooking the city
The panoramic terrace of Torre Nord is an outdoor space characterised by large open areas, lightweight furnishings and a view that becomes an integral part of the experience.
In this setting, the audio system had a clear purpose: to complement the space without dominating it.
A minimal solution, consistent with the architecture of the terrace and with its use for events, aperitifs and informal gatherings.
Four SN120 speakers for 360° sound distribution
The terrace was equipped with four Garvan SN120 omnidirectional speakers.
The 360° dispersion allows each speaker to distribute sound throughout the surrounding area, making it particularly suitable for an open environment where people can move freely between tables, seating areas and different parts of the terrace.
This makes it possible to create a widespread sound presence with only a few elements, without requiring speakers to be aimed at a single listening position.
Outdoor audio integrated into the space
The cylindrical shape of the SN120 speakers and their white finish allow them to blend naturally with the furnishings and architectural elements of the terrace.
The result is a simple yet effective system: four sound points distributed throughout the space to accompany activities on the terrace, while leaving the panorama as the main visual focus.
Four speakers, one essential solution
In this project, the audio system did not need to become the main feature. It simply had to work naturally within the space.
Four SN120 speakers provide music throughout the panoramic terrace of Torre Nord, maintaining a balance between sound coverage, simplicity and architectural integration.
