Flush with the wall, designed to blend in customisable finishes for outdoor architecture
The flush-mounted solution reduces the speaker’s visual impact and lets the architecture take centre stage. KR16M can be installed in masonry or plasterboard using the backbox or frame suited to the surface.
The cover can be selected and customised from the finishes available for KR16M: the micro-perforated grille can be painted white or in RAL/NCS colours to complement the surrounding materials and palette.
- Flush installation in compatible walls and panels
- Customisable cover with micro-perforated grille
- Discreet integration in gardens, on terraces and in marine settings
Detailed sound, even outdoors 2-way system for music and speech
The 160 mm woofer with a treated cellulose cone and the 20 mm treated-silk dome tweeter work together to deliver full, balanced sound and clear speech.
KR16M is designed to provide sound in outdoor spaces and marine environments while maintaining clarity and broad coverage. The frequency response stated in the Datasheet applies when the dedicated preset is used.
- Power: 150 W AES / 300 W continuous
- Frequency response: 60 Hz – 20 kHz (-3 dB) with dedicated preset
- Sensitivity: 86,5 dB (2,83 V / 1 m)
- Calculated maximum SPL: 120,5 dB @ 1 m
Outdoor integration built to last masonry, plasterboard and marine environments
KR16M is an in-wall or in-ceiling speaker: the Datasheet describes installation solutions for masonry and plasterboard, with a minimum wall thickness of 90 mm. Choose the frame and backbox to suit the installation type.
Its AISI 316L stainless steel frame, marine-grade phenolic plywood backbox for masonry and IP66 rating make it suitable for outdoor installations, pools, saunas and marine settings. The Datasheet details the specific installation conditions.
- Installation: in-wall / in-ceiling
- Minimum wall depth: 90 mm
- Environmental protection: IP66
- Operating temperature: from -25 °C to +70 °C
Crossover and carefully designed connections components and connections for precise sound
The crossover is integral to KR16M’s acoustic design: the current product page describes air-wound coils, polyester capacitors and metal push connectors selected for stable connections and controlled sound reproduction.
The Datasheet states that push connectors on both the crossover and speaker accept cables from 18 AWG to 11 AWG. To protect the system, a 45 Hz high-pass filter with a 48 dB/octave slope is recommended; Garvan presets are also available.
- Push connectors on the crossover and speaker
- Supported cable size: 18–11 AWG
- Nominal impedance: 8 Ω
- Recommended high-pass filter: 45 Hz, 48 dB/octave
